29th June 2026, All NEMO Committee Press Release
According to Article 80 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 (CACM Regulation), all Nominated Electricity Market Operators in cooperation with all Transmission System Operators are required to annually report on the costs of establishing, amending and operating Single Day-Ahead (SDAC) and Single Intra-Day Coupling (SIDC). The costs for 2025 are summarized in the CACM Cost Report 2025. The document also provides the forecast for 2026, and the costs of projects implemented by NEMOs and TSOs in certain regions.
Rafael Gómez-Elvira, Chairman of the NEMO Committee, highlighted that “The cost of market coupling per traded volume has been steadily decreasing over the years. This remarkable cost efficiency is thanks to the current NEMO governance. This brings to the EU all the benefits of a fully integrated wholesale market while maintaining decentralized operations”.
The CACM Cost Report 2025 can be found here.
