Piotr Listwoń joins the Management Board of IRGiT

• On 30 August 2023, the Supervisory Board of Izba Rozliczeniowa Giełd Towarowych S.A. (IRGiT) appointed Piotr Listwoń to the Company’s Management Board for a new joint term of office beginning on 1 October 2023, in the capacity of Vice-President of the Management Board.
• On 29 September 2023, the Supervisory Boards of TGE and IRGiT approved the holding of a dual position by Piotr Listwoń as the Vice-President of the Management Board of both companies. 
• As of 1 October 2023, the Management Board of IRGiT has been composed of: Łukasz Goliszewski – President of the Management Board and Piotr Listwoń – Vice-President of the Management Board.
• The composition of the Management Board of Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A. (TGE) has remained unchanged.
• Piotr Listwoń’s simultaneous role as Vice-President of TGE and IRGiT is expected to have a positive impact on the optimisation of processes and increased efficiency in the TGE Group.

Piotr Listwoń

Piotr Listwoń has been with the TGE Group since 2008. Earlier in his career, he took part in starting up the operations of IRGiT S.A., where he served as Head of the Clearing and Settlement Department and Head of International Cooperation Development, between 2013 and 2018. 

Starting from April 2018, he took the role of Vice-President of the Management Board of TGE where he is responsible for operations and product development. Also a that time, he became a member of the Supervisory Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Foundation and in December 2020 was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of InfoEngine, a subsidiary of the TGE Group. In January 2021, he joined the Management Board of the international Association of Power Exchanges (APEx).

Piotr Listwoń has extensive experience in managing trading and clearing operations on commodity forward markets, financial instruments as well as international transactions carried out as part of the market coupling of the European electricity markets.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Strategic Management of the Polish Open University (POU/Oxford Brookes University) where he also received an MBA degree.
